About me...
Always a pleasure and never a chore, gardening has been a friend that has accompanied throughout my life.
An enjoyment as a child and teenager, led me to gain a Higher National Diploma in Horticulture at Bicton college.
From there, my path wound along through plant nurseries propagating bedding and herbaceous perennials to garden centres one of which I managed, and on to floristry where I learnt a few seasonal tricks of the trade.

It was inevitable as my two girls grew older, that there would be an involvement with their pre-school and primary school. Many visits were made to my allotments by the children of the toddler group and pre-school.
Joy was to be had watching the children plant seeds and marvel at fruit growing and flowers blooming.

And then the time was right for me to continue the path in my very own direction.
Maid.In.The.Garden has grown steadily over the last few years. Each season has enabled me to enhance the services that I can provide. I take pride in my work and the spaces that I have created for customers throughout the years.
A day isn't complete without soil under my fingernails, and leaves in my hair! Gardening and the great outdoors have always been my passion, and I count myself as one of the lucky few that truly loves their vocation in life.
