Helping to re-claim an over grown garden
This garden is full of sentimental history with many old shrubs and established trees. Over the years it became a little bit overwhelming for the owner. During the course of a few months, with regular visits I have removed weeds, and cleared away patio areas so that the existing planting can be managed with ease.

Creating a stunning border for a wonderful wedding venue
Rockbeare Manor is a local exclusive use venue, offering bespoke wedding packages that are unique for each event.
Formally a family home, the Regency Manor house has been transformed into a stunning location.
The gardens were almost a blank canvas (first two photos), and the dynamic and forward thinking team required a moderate maintenance but colourful scheme, to act as a back drop for ceremonies throughout the year.

Orchard pruning

During the Winter months, maintenance gardening slows down, and larger works can be undertaken. In this instance, an old established apple orchard was in need of some care. The trees had become very top heavy, so a reduction in height was asked for. It was a good opportunity to remove any dead wood, along with crossing branches.

Simple soft planting plans
Every so often, it is easier for a customer to have a simple plan to work from when planting up a bare area. I was asked to produce an easy to use planting plan for a front and back garden that were being renovated. The scheme included low maintenance plants that would have impact all year around.

Regular maintenance
Regular maintenance can be a myriad of things within a garden.
Lawn care is at the top of the list, with regular visits throughout the growing season.
Weeding and tending to borders is important when keeping your garden maintained.
Shrub and hedge care are more seasonal, but it is wise to remember the structural elements of the garden, as they are the 'bones' that hold it all together.
